Belinda Humfrey
Belinda is founding chair of the Desborough Civic Society which manages the Desborough Heritage Centre, of which she is the curator. She has retired from a career in teaching, research, publication and administration at the Universities of Oxford, Reading and Wales. Belinda also carried out university lecturing throughout Europe on the relationship of Art and Literature.
Belinda served on Northamptonshire County Council from 2005 to 2013 and the former East Midlands Museum Service. Her primary interests are English literature, Art, History and Heritage and the built and natural environment. She is also heavily involved in the creation and running of a range of local charities, groups and projects such as community transport, community coffee house and millennium green.
